




It's a tradition which goes back to the 1940s when Delmar Schaal established the Schaal Furnace Company. This was his promise: "A business succeeds by keeping customers satisfied." So customer satisfaction affected every business decision he made.
Maintaining customer satisfaction continued to influence management decisions and this promise was not forgotten when Wendell Fouche acquired the company and assumed the presidency in 1980.
